Kindergarten Challenge: January 9-13

For this week's challenge, you will write a haiku (you say it like this: "hi-KOO") about snow. A haiku is a special kind of poem that is only three lines long. The first line has five syllables, the second line has seven syllables, and the last line has five syllables again. Here is an example:

Snow is falling down.

I can see it hit the ground.

I can't wait to play!

Can you write a haiku about the snow? If you do, have an adult send it to acsk2challenge@gmail.com . You will get a certificate, and a lucky winner will also receive a sweet treat! Good luck, and stay warm!

Ms. D
