Kindergarten Challenge: November 21 - December 2

Math problems grow your brain... even over Thanksgiving break! Have a grownup help you with this challenge.

First, print out these apple cards. Cut along the black lines so that you have ten cards in all. Use the cards to solve this math problem:

Mr. Clark is making apple pies for Thanksgiving. He needs ten apples in all. Use your cards to find different ways of showing exactly ten apples.

Can you find at least five different ways of showing ten? Use the letters on the cards to record your answers. For example, cards A, B, C, and D could be put together to show exactly ten apples.

Submit your answers to Ms. D by clicking the button on this site OR by emailing acsk2challenge@gmail.com . If you complete the challenge, your name will be entered into a drawing, and you could win a sweet treat!
